Rohit Sharma is one of the prolific batsmen across the world in limited overs cricket. He has already proved his batting abilities by scoring three double centuries in ODIs.
The HITMAN of Indian cricket simply blows away the opposition on his day, not sparing even the best of the bowlers. However long the boundary may be, he does not think twice about hitting a six on a loose delivery. Rohit’s monstrous sixes are always a delight to watch.
2017 turned out to be an outstanding year for Rohit, who created a number of records.
Here are six of the greatest records he broke this year:
1.) In Sri Lanka’s tour of India, Rohit scored a hundred in Test series, a double hundred in the ODI series and a century in the T20I series. Thus, he became the first player in cricket history to score a century in all the three formats in a single tour.
2.) Rohit hit more than 30 sixes in International cricket in each of 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Thus, he became the first batsman to hit 30 plus sixes for five consecutive calendar years.
