Cricketer and Bollywood actresses have had a long history, and certainly, the celebrities from the two professions have some liking towards each other.
The recent example being is of Team India’s captain Virat Kohli marrying Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in Italy on December 11.
However, the latest rumour doing the rounds is between former Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi and actress Zareen Khan.
Zareen marked her presence during the recently concluded T10 league in UAE supporting Shahid Afridi and his team Pakhtoon’s. She has been a regular at cricket matches in India as well, and her increasing engagement in the game in Sharjah had media on the toes.
Such rumours surely affect the personal life of a celebrity and keeping such things in mind the Bollywood diva took to Twitter to clear the air on the topic and wrote, “Came across a senseless post thats doing rounds on social media abt Shahid Afridi and me. He is a complete family man and a true gentleman. I wud request ppl not to pay heed to fake news and encourage such stupidity. #Shame#CheckFacts#GetALife”

However, Zareen Khan had earlier revealed her crush on Afridi and mentioned this in a couple of interviews to various publications. She had said, “I have been a fan of Afridi from the very first day he had played his match, I think he was 16 and scored 100 runs on 32 or 35 balls. I was an admirer of his hair and his looks.” This is all that gave rise to the rumours of Zareen Khan marring Shahid Afridi.
