Twitter Reactions: India bowled out for 92 after Trent Boult’s sensational spell

India have been embarrassingly bowled out for their second lowest ODI score against New Zealand in Hamilton on Thursday, dismissed for 92 after just 30.5 overs.

After losing the toss and being sent in to bat, the Men in Blue slumped to 40 for 7 in the 17th over, albeit minus superstar Virat Kohli who has been rested for the remainder of the series.

Left arm fast bowler Trent Boult caused havoc for the Indian top order, with the swing bowler ripping out openers Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, debutant Shubman Gill and Kedar Jadhav in quick succession.

All-rounder Hardik Pandya played a lone hand smashing four boundaries on his way to 16, before becoming Boult’s fifth victim as the Kiwi speedster finished with figures of 5-21.

Tailenders Kuldeep Yadav (15) and Yuzvendra Chahal (18) helped India in crossing over their lowest ODI score against New Zealand of 88, set in 2010.
