Harmanpreet Kaur entered her name into the record books as she became the first Indian women to score a century in T20Is during the opening game of the ICC Women’s World T20 2018 against New Zealand on Friday.
The Indian skipper smashed her maiden T20I hundred off just 49 deliveries as she helped India post a commanding total of 194/5 in their allotted 20 overs.
Harmanpreet’s innings of 103 (51 balls) included seven fours and eight huge sixes as India posted the highest total of Women’s World Cup history at the Providence stadium in Guayana.
