Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya took a sweet revenge from Australia’s star batsman Glenn Maxwell by knocking over the latter during the 2nd T20I of the three-match series.
Bowling from around the wicket at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Pandya bowled a peach of a delivery to dismiss the Australian counterpart. It was one that beat Maxwell in the length and had him thrusting forward in defence.
The ball gripped and then turned past the outside edge, went with the angle and clattered into the off-stump. Pandya finished with figures of 1 for 26.
Earlier, in the first T20I at The Gabba, Pandya had an outing to forget as he conceded 55 runs in four overs. It was Maxwell who then had taken a special liking towards the left-arm spinner and smashed him for 3 sixes in an over.
